The past month has been filled with enjoying the present, connecting with clients and skiing! Mike started a commercial job for a buddy, framing and rebuilding stairs, along with putting the final touches on a mountain project up in Fraser Colorado. I’ve been busy with the spring market – viewing homes with clients (and having an offer accepted!), working on market analysis with an out of state investor, and giving tips to my community on all things real estate. We also had a wonderful trip to Bozeman, Montana with a group of our closest crew – and enjoyed being fully present in a beautiful place. I’m practicing being in the now, enjoying the present and planning for an abundant tomorrow!

Starting, growing, and maintaining a business can be challenging and can often feel isolating. Join the Arvada Entrepreneur Community – a group of local business owners, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and side hustlers who live and operate in the city of Arvada.
The group will be a platform to foster and feed your ideas, add support where possible and come together as a community. Each meeting will dive into a different topic or host an expert in a particular area – all fed by members’ needs. Transparency is necessary for growth and by sharing our strengths and challenges, we can learn from each other. Business tactics are universal.
We will highlight a different local business every meetup and support their location. The meetups will be conducted on the first Wednesday of the month from 9 am – 10 am. Our greatest resource is our community. There will be no sales pitches.
First meet-up will be held on Wednesday, March 9th at Ralston-Central Park from 9am-10am. Our group will be over by the picnic tables. Feel free to bring your own coffee, water, or smoothie!

Social Media can be a distraction – or a tool to learn from! My man, my mentor, my friend Anson Young and I have been going live on Instagram and sharing tips on all things real estate. They’re quick videos that are intended to drop knowledge from our own experiences as real estate investors, flippers, agents….
Make sure you’re following us on Instagram to join in!
Tips & Teachings
I’ve been listening to some great podcasts lately around attention and focus as I’m trying to be ever present in a world full of distractions.
I’ve also been utilizing online tools to analyze short term rental markets and fair
market value for rents.
- Rentometer – a tool for comparing rent with other local properties
- AirDNA – gives access to short term and vacation rental data
