Invest, Buy & Sell with
Happiness in Mind
I'm a Real Estate Investor & Agent who gave up the golden handcuffs....
Hey, there! I’m Catie Lawrence and I believe true fulfillment comes from an intentional life, one where you invest in the present to better your future. My husband (and business partner) and I have been building a life we love, leveraging real estate to do so, since 2012. Check out our projects to date.
I have implemented multiple strategies from BRRR’s, to live in flips, househacking to short term rentals, fix and flips and long term rentals. In 2021, I was able to quit my W-2 to go
all-in on real estate and I’ve not looked back!
My mission is to help others invest, buy or sell real estate. Whether you want to build long-term wealth, add an additional income stream, quit your W-2 for that passion project or find your dream home….I can help!
I wrote an email series to introduce the strategies I’ve used – sign up below to receive the lessons, things to avoid & tips!

In 2015, Catie and her husband founded Happy Homes, Ltd., focusing on flipping, long-term rentals and mid-term rentals. Catie discusses her first flips, partnerships, and the decision to transition to LTRs.

On this community episode we chat with Joe Saul-Sehy and Catie Lawrence about 401ks. Specifically we work through an article from Benziga in which Grant Cardone, money guru extraordinaire, badmouths retirement savings. Do you agree? Disagree?
I've been there...
If you’re looking to get into investing to build multiple streams of income using real estate, knowing where to start can feel a bit overwhelming. The amount of information out there can be confusing, recommendations you receive can be out of context and people you follow on social may not have the same end goals as you. Don’t worry – I’ve been there!
I had a career that paid the bills and allowed me to save aggressively, so I was able to eventually take the leap into something I loved. It didn’t happen overnight though – it took several years of my working nights, lunch breaks and weekends on our real estate business – with Mike doing the bulk of our flips and rennovations himself. It was hard, but anything worth doing takes effort and time!
Whether you are looking to buy your first home or your first rental or Airbnb, looking to house-hack or get a vacation rental – I’d love to help you in your journey. Reach out today!
My Lifestyle Design...
I’m a work hard, play hard kinda person and have designed my life with that in mind. In between working with clients, managing 3 long-term rentals, 1 short term rental and being an entrepreneur running my own company, I love to ski, mountain bike and travel. Here are a few of the things I’ve done to set this life up…
- I started a financial club with friends - The Money Minded Mavens
- I've house hacked since 2012, supplementing living expenses
- We rent out our primary house as a short term rental while we travel
- When I had a 6-figure W-2 Income, I invested heavily, saved 50% of my take-home and maxed out my retirment vehicles
- I set intentional plans for the weeks, months, year ahead, getting specific about my income, work, and fun
