The last month of the year is upon us and we’ve had the pleasure of helping multiple clients the past few weeks. Mike completed a custom cabinet install and I’ve been helping clients with their real estate endeavors – getting clients under contract on a home and assisting another with a rental. With interest rates rising, the market shift has really benefited buyers and opportunities are plentiful!

During this time of year, I’ve also spent time reflecting on the past year, what has worked, what hasn’t, and how I want next year to look. If you’d like to receive the template I use for this Lifestyle Design, reach out!
Can I ask you a question about Real Estate?
I get this question a lot – and I love to talk about real estate, so it works out!
I’ve been utilizing and leveraging real estate to build wealth for over a decade. From house-hacking (aka having a roommate) to short term-rentals, to managing long-term rentals and purchasing turn-key rentals to flipping homes with Mike….I’ve built systems and processes to make it as seamless as possible. And would love to help answer any of your questions!
If you have been thinking about getting into real estate investing, purchasing or managing your own rental or Airbnb and would like some mentorship, I’d love to help get you started. While real estate is not a passive way to invest, if you front load the work, it doesn’t have to take a lot of time. New endeavors can seem overwhelming – but leveraging someone who has done it helps set you up for success.

Your Step By Step Guide to STR your Primary
Since 2012, I’ve been utilizing some form of short term rental strategy to supplement my living expenses. And I’ve learned a thing or two in the 10+ years…so I wrote an extensive guide on how to do just that. I’m offering a version of the guide to my email subscribers, so if you’re interested in receiving a copy when it’s complete, let me know here!
Tips & Teachings
I am a tactical person, so at the end of the year I like to take stock of the past year in a tangible way and plan for the year ahead with action steps. For our business that means talking to our CPA and bookkeeper, as well as discussing what we want our portfolio to look like and keeping an eye on the housing market.
Here are a few podcasts & articles I’ve enjoyed that have gotten my wheels turning and given me great things to think about.
